I dare not dream
for dreams are made
of things that are unreal

Dreams are hope
hope for things
that can never be


Dream not for dreams
are made for those who are sleeping
I am ever awake
never ending insomnia

I dream not
for the  world is not my oyster
it's my fucking  nightmare

I dream not for my eyes are
heavy with desire
for things never to be

Dream not for all your
hopes will be dashed upon rocks
carried away by thrashing waves

Forever  I am reminded
that dreams are repressed
fantasies and fantasies are
for dreamers and a dreamer
I am not

while separated from you?
i am Longing...
and Yearning...
in Anguish and agony
that nothing can heal...

Only the sound of your voice
a glimpse of your face
a taste of your tongue
the smack of your lips against mine
can heal this affliction
